Dr. Henry Emeka Ahamefule, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Physics and Conservation from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Certificate in Water Stewardship for Food Security in Action from the University of Wageningen Centre for International Development (2022). He joined the services of the University of Ilorin in 2013 as an Assistant Lecturer. His research has won him international conferences, where he showcased his research findings. He has worked in three different teams that won University-based Research Grants. His research focus has spanned through remediation of petroleum-impacted soils, restoration of degraded soil physical properties due to long-term tillage, and assessment of erosivity and erodibility response to changing climate. He has over thirty-five scientific publications in reputable international and local journals. He is a member of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria and the Agricultural Society of Nigeria.
