Biography

Yahaya, James Ukwumonu hails from Idah Local government Area of Kogi State. He was born on 11th February 1988 to the family of Mr & Mrs Yahaya A. Suleiman. He attended St. William’s RCM Primary School, where he obtained a First School Leaving Certificate in 1999. He proceeded to St. Anthony’s Secondary School, where he got his Secondary School Certificate in 2005. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Ilorin to study Agriculture and graduated with First Class Honours in 2013. He then completed his National Youth Service at the Department of Agronomy, University of Ilorin, after which he proceeded to get his MSc in Soil Science from the same Department in 2016. Mr. Yahaya worked as a Farm manager at Doyin Investment Nigeria Limited (Farm Division), Agbamu from 2017 to 2019 before proceeding to the University of Ghana in 2019 for my PhD in Soil Science programme. He has embarked on several projects such as bio-fertilizers and bio-herbicides, among other published works.
