Dr Ehiokhilen Kevin Eifediyi was born in Ewatto in Esan South East Local Government, Edo State, Nigeria. He attended St John Boscos` College, Ubiaja, Federal School of Agriculture, Umudike- Umuahia, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nkpolu- Port-Harcourt and Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He holds a PhD in crop production. His research focus is on the bio-fortification of crops using an agronomic approach and the study of nutrient needs of underutilized crops. He was a collaborating Scientist with IITA, Ibadan on drought-tolerant maize varieties in a southern Guinea Savannah zone of Nigeria. Dr Eifediyi is a member of the International Society of Organic Agriculture Research, International Society for Seed Science, Crop Science Society of Nigeria, and Horticultural Society of Nigeria. He has served as Level Adviser, Farm Practical Training coordinator, and Postgraduate coordinator for many years, and is presently the Head of the Department of Agronomy, University of Ilorin, Ilorin.
